Ortho-bionomy
An Ortho-Bionomy session begins with a complete analysis of your alignment, body posture, walking assessment, and feedback to help ensure we reach maximum effectiveness.
The health benefits of working with an Ortho-Bionomy practitioner include: injury prevention and/or recovery, easing the pains and aches elite athletes often suffer from, and overall well being.
Ortho-bionomy is a unique form of body work that centers around finding a comfortable position for your body while stimulating the nervous system to recognize imbalances and encouraging your body to find the most correct posture for you.

What Ortho-bionomy is:
- Fully clothed. Wear something comfortable
- A partnership between you and your practitioner. We want to know what is most comfortable for you, so we may be asking a lot of questions.
- Gentle. We work with the body and “go with the flow” to allow your body to find its own inherent balance.
What Ortho-bionomy isn’t:
- Painful. By allowing your body to find the most comfortable position you will discover a greater sense of ease and self correction.
- Forceful. We allow your body to direct the positions and movements to find the one that best suits you.
- Absolutes. We allow your body to decide what is right for you, which is different for each person.
- Magic. We don’t “fix” you. We help your body recognize its own best position. While the effects may feel amazing, it is really just the body’s way of healing itself.
